Biography
In Liège he was taught by Garrett List and Frédéric Rzewski, amongst others, and came into contact with a few young and promising names on the Belgian jazz scene, including Michel Massot, Michel Debrulle and Fabrizio Cassol. Soon after, he moved to Brussels, where he also met Pierre Van Dormael, Pierre Vaiana and Michel Hatzigeorgiou.
In the Nineties, he took part in various projects, from baroque over present-day classical music to jazz and impro. In 1998 he was proclaimed best clarinettist in Belgium by the public broadcasters VRT/RTBF.
