Violiste Aurélie Entringer was born in Metz, where she studied at the Conservatoire. She did higher music studies at the Brussels Royal Flemish Conservatoire and spent two more years further perfecting her knowledge with Atar Arad in Bloomington, Indiana University (USA). She obtained her solo diploma in 2003.
In 2004 she was nominated for a ‘Classical ADAMA Revelation’ award. Aurélie Entringer eagerly explores her instrument’s huge potential and is active in a motley variety of ensembles.
She has a predilection for classical music and has worked with the likes of Yuri Bashmet, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Julian Rachlin, Roberto Diaz, Paul Katz, Maurizio Fuks, Donald Wilerstein, Ilya Kaler, Miriam Fried, Stanley Ritchie, Maxim Vengerov, Joshua Bell. This young alto violinist also plays in a number of famous orchestras, such as the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the NES Chamber Orchestra and the UBS Verbier Chamber Orchestra.
