Christophe Minck is a French musician who also composes for both stage and screen.
He studies the harp and double bass at the Versailles CNR and specializes in all sorts of ethnic musical instruments such as the sitar, n'goni, kora and kamelogoni. From the late '80s until the early '90s he plays with Trash Corporation (a jazz fusion band comprising Bojan Z) and funk rock group Vercoquin. He develops quite a taste for free jazz and impro and crosses the path of the Belgo-French Octurn collective, with whom he appears on our label.
Today he plays mainly with big Malinese musicians such as Oumou Sangaré and Rokia Traoré.
