Claron McFadden is an American soprano. She performs in concert and opera halls worldwide where she worked with conductors such as Kurt Masur, Sir Andrew Davis, Hartmut Haenchen, René Jacobs, Marc Minkowsky, Trevor Pinnock, Neeme Järvi and Fabio Biondi. International festivals invited her, including Aix-en-Provence, Glyndebourne (UK), Holland Festival, Tanglewood and the festivals of Bregenz, Salzburg and the BBC Proms.

Claron McFadden cooperated on operas such as Les Indes Galantes by Jean-Philippe Rameau (with Frans Brüggen), Rage D'amour of Rob Zuidam and Dialogues des Carmélites of Francis Poulenc. Claron McFadden also performed in Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss, in Boreas: music theatre with the Vlaamse Muziek Lod, in the Johannes Passion with the Residentie Orkest and in a recital with jazz pianist Michiel Borstlap.

In March 2009 the CD "Claron sings Brossé" was released, with vocal work for soprano of Flemish composer and conductor Dirk Brossé. McFadden also sings the Dutch language Landuytcyclus, based on impressions of paintings of Octave Landuyt and the Eppur si muove.

In Belgium Claron is mainly known for her work on the operas of pianist Kris Defoort.
