Drummer/percussionist Eric Thielemans is famous for craving experiment. No wonder then that he mainly plays present-day and avant-garde music. He is also partial to cross-pollination with other art forms, such as performance, theatre, poetry or dance.
He can be found in groups such as the experimental jazzfusion band lidlboy, the Jozef Dumolin Trio, Tape Cuts Tape, Kaat Helling's band, ... and is the leader of the EARR (Ensemble Artists Repertoire Research) ensemble, alongside Claron McFadden, Jean-Yves Evrard, Peter Jacquemyn, Jozef Dumoulin, Hilary Jeffery and Jorgen Cassier.
