Spurred on by his teacher Fredéric Rzewski, he focuses on experimenting and improvising. That is why he mainly thrives in present-day music, avant-garde and interdisciplinary art. He has worked with a motley selection of artists such as Garrett List, Fabrizio Cassol, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Wim Vandekeybus, ... 

He has also played with the experimental ensemble Octurn and the jazz rock trio Aka Moon. He is also the permanent pianist of the Jeroen Van Herzeele Quartet.
