At the Antwerp Conservatoire, he took classes with Jan De Haas and Martijn Vink, and in 2007 he graduated under Dré Pallemaerts at the Leuven Lemmens Institute. Today Frederik plays in various jazz bands: Hamster axis of the one-click Panter, Bansure Collectif, Marcelo Moncada Space Quartet, Slevensnevels, Intangible States, etc...
