Gino Lattuca is of Italian stock but was born in Belgium.
Having obtained a First Prize for Trumpet at the Mons Conservatoire, he played a few concerts with the BRT radio orchestra, after which he decided to focus fully on jazz. His first jazz performance was at the prestigious Jazz Middelheim festival in 1983.
In 1985 he plays on pianist Kris Defoort’s album Diva Smiles. Soon after, he starts a duo with Charles Loos and regularly appears with Félix Simtaine’s ACT Big Band.

In 2009 he releases an album as leader, alongside Philip Catherine, Bart De Nolf as well as Mimi Verderame.
