Biography

Drummer Herman Pardon studied music at the music academies of Tervuren and Hoeilaart, as well as at the Rotterdam Conservatoire, where his tutors were Peter Ypma, Fred Krens and Hans Van Oosterhout. He has done workshops with the likes of Jeff Hamilton, Adam Nussbaum and Steve Smith.

He has also freelanced as a drummer with Dick De Graaf, Bob Brookmeyer, Octurn, Jan Muës Sextet, etc ... and recorded albums with Ernst Vranckx, Bert Joris and John Ruocco.

He is active with groups such as Score Man, T-unit 4, Fabrizio Graceffa Quartet and the Piet Verbist Trio.
