Biography

Jozef Dumoulin has carved his own niche in the Belgian jazz landscape. In the course of his career of twenty years he has almost become one with his Fender Rhodes. Following the example of artists such as Chick Corea, he truly made the instrument his own by combining it with any number of pedals and thus developing a unique sound.

He is mainly active in experimental jazz and plays with lidlboj, has his own Jozef Dumoulin Trio and regularly performs with bands such Octurn and Electric Barbarian. He has also played alongside the likes of Toots Thielemans, The Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Aka Moon, Mark Turner, Magic Malik, Ellery Eskelin, Mauro Pawlovski, ...
