Lode Vercampt is a classical cellist who was already a laureate of the Jeunes Talent at the age of nine, became Pro Civitate laureate, got the degree of Master in Music at the Ghent Conservatory and shined in Il Novecento, I Fiamminghi and Prima La Musica.
However, he also shared the stage with Gorki, Jo Lemaire, Johan Verminnen and Dirk Blanchard. He regularly plays in musical theatre productions of Het Muziek Lod with, among others, Hush Hush and the opera The Woman who Walked into Doors by Kris Defoort.
He also plays with Catherine Delasalle and Ambusch. His masterful technique does not stop him from seeking adventurous paths on his cello. For instance, he is part of experimental ensemble radioKUKAorkest and jazz fusion group Electric Barbarian.
