Mamani Keita is a Malinese musician and singer, who became famous worldwide with her 2002 album 'Electro Bamako'.
She grew up in Mali and speaks Bambara. As a young singer, she is one of the backing vocalists of world famous Salif Keita. She also took part in the soundtrack of the 2005 French animation film 'Kirikou et les bêtes sauvages'. In 2006 she released her second album 'Yéléman', followed five years later by 'Gagner l'argent Français'.
On our W.E.R.F. label she was guest vocalist on the project of fellow countryman Baba Sissoko.
