Tcha Limberger is the son of gipsy musician Vivi Limberger and grandson of Piotto Limberger, the band leader of the manouche jazz band The Piottos.
He imbibed the musical gipsy tradition from early childhood onwards, but gradually also developed an interest in other music styles such as jazz and present-day classical music. In the course of his career he has been seen alongside Roby Lakatos, Stochelo Rosenberg, Biréli Lagrène, Fapy Lafertin, Wannes Van De Velde, Aka Moon, ... He also founded his own Tcha Limberger Budapest Orchestra, with whom he has toured successfully.
He also composes and plays music for the stage and has worked for Alain Platel’s famous Les Ballets C de la B.
