Description

A few years earlier, contrabassist Chris Mentens released the successful CD “Drivin’ with the Chris Mentens Jazz Van” he produced on his own and he now made a sequel on the W.E.R.F. label.

All own compositions and the “Van” includes Sam Versweyveld (trumpet), Joe Higham (saxophones, clarinets, duduk), Dree Peremans (trombone), Jan Nihoul (vibraphone) and Bilou Doneux (drums). Pierre Van Dormael (guitar) and Chris Joris (percussion) join the trip and can be heard on several tracks.
