Description

The new project of our resident artist is, as the title suggests, a mix between jazz, contemporary and old music. We hear parts of his opera, but also ‘pimenti’ inspired by Monteverdi and Dowland.

The jazz is brought by his Dreamtime (see W.E.R.F.014/15 Passages), the classical touch comes from the  Quatuor Danel and the fantastic voice of Claron McFadden. Conductor Koen Kessels steers the project in the right direction. One of the few successful examples of the combination of jazz and classical music.
