We got to know Belgium-based Polish saxophonist Cezariusz Gadzina in the production “Saxafabra”. He is also part of Bl!ndman and is the leader of the European Saxophone Ensemble, two groups that situate themselves in the atmosphere of classical and contemporary music.
With his debut record as leader of his own quartet he again seeks out his jazz roots and succeeds wonderfully. In ten tracks Gadzina proves that he is an excellent jazz composer and also manages to include you in his story from the very first note as a saxophonist. He also surrounds himself with an extremely solid rhythm section. On the piano we find the young high-profile pianist Eve Beuvens. Her brother Lionel Beuvens takes care of the drums, and the rhythm section is completed by Christophe Devisscher on double bass.
