It seems as if these musicians make that extra effort on this project, rather than people who release a CD every year. Free’s band is very enjoyable. Apart from him we hear John Ruocco on tenor sax and clarinet, the rhythm section consists of dream team Manolo Cabras (bass) and Marek Patrman (drums). Yet another sign of how international the Belgian jazz scene is: an Ostend native, an American, an Italian and a Czech.
