In 2010 our W.E.R.F. label started cooperating with American label Origin Records for the co-production of the first album of the Belgian-American Bram Weijters-Chad McCullough Quartet (Imaginary Sketches – W.E.R.F.088).

The mutual respect between the musicians as well as the labels was so great that further cooperation was imperative. Just like on their previous album this dynamic foursome again lets the listener dive into a repertoire filled with lyricism, but is alternated with darker and more melancholic passages.

The whole sounds fresh and contemporary, but the jazz tradition is never far away.
