Description

This Fonda/Morena/Hirshfield album is the product of four years of making music together, from 1990 to 1994. Joe Fonda called the album a ‘document’ in which all the participants learnt a lot about themselves and the music they were creating together.

Hearing the CD you’d swear these guys had been playing together for twenty years, such is the cohesion and fluency of their sound. Recorded in NY in 1994, this is a fine example of laid-back jazz, by an accomplished trio working in a long-established tradition.
