Description

Baritone saxophonist Tom Van Dyck is a driven composer and born bandleader. One of his projects is the sax-quartet Saxkartel with Frank Vaganée (soprano), Sara Meyer (alto) and Kurt Van Herck (tenor).

They won the Tremplin Jazz Festival in Avignon in 2006. Apart from a concert at the Cour des Papes in the next edition of this festival, the winner also got a free recording in the prestigious Studio La Buissonne. For this recording the quartet also invited South African singer Tutu Puoane.
